My teaching interests comprise religion, politics, human rights, qualitative methods, Middle Eastern politics, global Islamic Politics, and the cultural politics of capitalism.
In 2025, I was awarded Providence College’s prestigious Accinno Teaching Award. The award is presented annually to the Providence College faculty member “who best exhibits excellence in teaching, passion and enthusiasm for learning, and genuine concern for students’ academic and personal growth.” https://teaching-excellence.providence.edu/teaching-award/
